Posted December 22, 2022 District News We missed a couple of valuable Toastmasters names who renewed early. This updated video includes all who renewed since the making of this video, December 21, 2022. A final thank you video will be created on January 1, 2023, thanking all District 56 Toastmasters who participated in the Club Growth “Tag You’re It, 8 is Great, Now Duplicate” challenge + a gift will be given to them for participating in the challenge. Tag, you’re it. Join the District 56 “8 is Great, Now Duplicate” Club Growth challenge. A minimum of 8 club members who renewed on or before September 30, 2022, renew their April 1, 2023, dues by December 31, 2022. The first 8 members in a club who renew by December 31, 2022, win a Toastmasters branded surprise item. Offered to the first 50 clubs. Take the “8 is Great” challenge then challenge another club on social media with #8isGreat This is tier two of the District 56 Club Growth Membership Renewal Campaign found at https://toastmasters.hostdev.pro/incentives The Goal: All clubs have a minimum of 8 paid members to remain in good standing. Clubs that qualify will also be recognized on the District 56 website, toastmastershouston.com. Create a memorable short video about your club using one of the 8 classic storytelling techniques taught in a Marketing Monday session on November 7. Email the video to Elizabeth Ruiz, Club Growth Director, at cgd@tmd56.org on or before January 1, 2022.
Qualifying videos will be uploaded to the District website and social channels where members will vote on first, second and third place. First place club winner receives a $100 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate. Second place club winner receives a $50 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate. Third place club winner receives a $25 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate. The Create a Memorable Message session was taught in Marketing Mondays. After attending the December 12, 2022, Marketing Monday session, Neurological Buzz, or watching the recorded session, and reading the handout with guidelines, one or more members of a District 56 Toastmasters Club creates a Get to Know Me Tag – My Toastmasters Journey video. Email your club’s Get to Know Me Tag – My Toastmasters Journey Club Video challenge to Elizabeth Ruiz, Club Growth Director, at cgd@tmd56.org on or before February 1, 2023.
Clubs that follow the guidelines in the 12.12.22 recorded Marketing Monday session and handout and submit qualified club videos will be uploaded to the District website and social channels where members will vote on first, second, and third place.
